Rice Pudding

Arborio Rice Pudding w/ Caramel Sauce 


  • 1/2 cup TJ’s Arborio Rice
  • 2 cups TJ’s Milk
  • 1 cup TJ’s Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 cup TJ’s Organic Cane Sugar
  • 1/2 TJ’s Vanilla Bean, split (seasonal) or 1 tsp TJ’s Pure Bourbon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp TJ’s Caramel Fleur de Sel Sauce (optional garnish)

Place all ingredients except caramel sauce in a large saucepan. Bring to a gentle boil; turn heat down to a very gentle simmer and stir constantly to keep rice from sticking to the bottom of the pan. Cook until rice is soft and plump and liquid is almost dry; about 30 to 40 minutes. Take pudding off heat, remove vanilla bean, pour into dessert dishes, top with caramel sauce and serve warm.

Serves: 4
Cooking Time: 30 – 40 Minutes
